■ Procedures to correct, suspend utilization, or suspend provision to third parties
(1) Request for correction, addition, or deletion
If, for the reason that the Personal Data Owned, Etc. is not true, the data subject requests the correction, addition, or deletion of the Data, the Company will make investigations without delay within the range required to achieve the purposes of utilization unless special procedures for correction, addition, and deletion are stipulated by the provisions of laws and ordinances other than the Act on the Protection of Personal Information. In this case, if the Personal Data Owned, Etc. is not true, or if the Data is not handled properly, the Company will make corrections, additions, or deletions without delay.
(2)Request for suspension of utilization, erasure, or suspension of provision to third parties
If, for the reason that the Company is handling Personal Data Owned, Etc. beyond the range required to achieve the purposes of utilization, that it obtained Personal Data Owned, Etc. using false or other unjust means, or that it obtained personal information requiring special care without the consent of the data subject, the data subject requests suspension of utilization or erasure of the Data and if it is found that there is good reason for such a request, the Company will suspend utilization of the Data or erase it without delay within the range required to correct the violation.
If, for the reason that the Company provided Personal Data Owned, Etc. to a third party (including one in a foreign country) against laws and ordinances, etc. or its Privacy Policy without the prior consent of the data subject or that it provided specific personal information to a third party, the data subject request the suspension of provision of the Data to the third party and it is found that there is good reason for such a request, the Company will suspend the provision of the Data to the third party without delay.
If one of the cases set forth below applies, however, it should be noted that the Company may not suspend utilization of all or part of the Data, erase them, or suspend their provision to the third party.

  • (2) In addition to the document required for the above-mentioned request, the Company will provide information on procedures as well as the Representative Confirmation Documents for the legal representative (for a minor or adult ward) and the Letter of Attorney for the representative by mandate.
  • (3) If you receive the documents listed in (2), please complete and send them to the address listed above together with one of the Company-designated representative confirmation documents (*4). If you request the Company to reply in writing, please also include a return envelope with 839 yen’s worth of stamp (*2) affixed to it.
  • (4) If it can confirm the documents listed in (2), the Company will reply accordingly. If the request is made by the representative by mandate and if the data subject’s registered seal is not affixed with its registration certificate not attached, the Company will contact only the data subject.

    Please enclose a photocopy of one of the documents listed below. The portion of the document which shows the data subject’s name and address must be photocopied. If the current address is different from the one written on the document, please submit a certificate of residence that indicates the history of address changes. If the driver’s license, passport, etc. includes the data subject’s legal domicile, etc., the information must be excluded when the document is copied. These documents will be used only to confirm the identity of the data subject and discarded without delay after the request is met. It should be noted that they will not be returned.

4. Public Announcement regarding de-identified information

As far as de-identified information is concerned, the Company will not acquire descriptions or the like deleted from the personal information concerned, personal identification codes, nor information related to the processing method, nor reference the de-identified information against other information for the purpose of identifying the person related to the personal information used in the creation of the de-identified information.

The Company will also endeavor to take necessary and appropriate measures for securely managing de-identified information, to carry out processing of complaints about the handling of such de-identified information, and to take other necessary measures for ensuring the proper handling of such de-identified information.
