Release of the Character Design, Voice Cast, and Theme Song for the "Under the Midnight Rainbow" water show

The "Under the Midnight Rainbow" water show, jointly presented by Suntory and Daikin, is a spectacular production that depicts the story of life on an epic scale, utilizing water, air, light, fire, visuals, and music. The show follows the protagonist, a child named "Ao," and a mysterious creature called "Dodo" as they meet beneath the mystical midnight rainbow, setting the stage for a grand celebration of living beings.

On Tuesday, December 24, the character designs, voice cast, and theme song were revealed.

The voice cast includes Hana Mōri (16), who has gained attention for her exceptional singing talent and performances in theater and musicals, as the protagonist "Ao." The role of "Dodo," who guides "Ao" to the celebration, is played by entertainer Tomochika, while the character of "Grandmother," who shares the island's traditional song and the legend of the midnight rainbow with "Ao," is voiced by actress Mari Natsuki.

In addition, the theme song for the water show, "Niji-matsuri - Dancing under the Rainbow -", composed and produced by composer/arranger and music producer Yoko Kanno, has also been unveiled along with its music video (MV). The illustrations for the music video were created by filmmaker Takashi Katō, known for his collaborations with renowned artists. Set on the island long before "Ao" was born, the music video serves as the "Episode Zero" of the story, skillfully weaving together the traditional song and narrative.
